I think the
the purpose of marketing is to sell more goods to more people and make more
profits". This is the basic principle. If the marketers and advertisers want
to do this, I think they should study consumer motivation. This knowledge can
help them to understand and predict consumers’ buying behaviour. For example, consumers
maybe want to buy discounted goods during the department stores’ anniversary.
Or, consumers usually love to buy some goods whose price is end of 9, such as NT$49,
NT$99, NT$199 and NT$ 299 and so on. After having this knowledge, marketers and
advertisers can help themselves to make better marketing decisions for profits.
They can analyze the various factors, and change the total buying behaviors.
